I'm Rose Thys, Digital Designer & Storyteller
from Ghent, Belgium
I was born in the suburbs of Ghent in the year of 1991. Because stories are a big love of mine, I started to study languages and literature at the University of Ghent at age eighteen. After I finished my Master’s degree English and Dutch, I decided to study one more year to become a teacher so that I could share my love for literature with teenagers.
After two years of teaching, I felt that my craving for creativity wasn’t fulfilled, so I began a new chapter in my life by studying Graphic Design at Luca School of Arts. In June 2019, I graduated cum laude. Now, I adore creating animations full of fantasy and colour and to participate in projects with augmented and virtual reality and game design. I am also more than happy to design apps, websites, projection mapping videos and give workshops.
It's my passion to not only create aesthetic and creative, but also functional designs for all kinds of target audiences. Some of my work is developed for schools, others for hospitals and I would love to design for other social and cultural organisations as well. I enjoy combining my interests in stories, digital innovations and learning through play.
