Youth Film Festival

For the visual identity of this ident, which was created for the Youth Film Festival Ghent, I chose to focus on scary nocturnal animals. After some research on such creatures, I selected elements such as the strange claw of the Aye Aye, the round staring eyes of the Tarsier and the sharp pines of the Porcupine. I experimented with tribal looking shapes to create a fitting style, and added glowing effects, creepy grabbing movements and daunting sounds.
