The Warmest Noses

For 'The Warmest Week', an annual charity event organised by the Flemish radio station Studio Brussel, we decided to help Ghentian people in poverty. Because this event takes place during winter, which is the worst season for people in poverty, we started a campaign called 'The Warmest Noses', with the slogan 'A warm heart for cold noses'. We chose to sell cuberdons, because this cone-shaped candy is typical for Ghent and is also known as 'Noses'. We created a (classier) box for adults and a more convenient little bag for children, that both contain a card with a fact about Ghentian people in poverty. E.g. '1 in 5 Ghentians live in poverty'. We contacted schools, youth movements, made a website, a Facebook page, a Facebook Profile Picture Frame, AR-effect for Facebook (see video above), a Facebook banner (animation) and a movie with famous Ghentian actor Jan Matthijs. In the end, we collected 575,5 Euros!
