‘Light’ tells the abstract story of a dark, low-spirited sphere, that overgrows everything, until a radiant companion breaks down the walls that are surrounding him. But In the end, darkness conquers the light. I created this animation for the student’s videomapping festival MASKA in the Czech Republic, which has one of the biggest permanent mapping surfaces in Europe (69m x 9.5m). To create the right atmosphere, I used the song Phase Shift by the Czech band Nona.
