Mixed Reality Storytelling Festival 2019
I participated in the Mixed Reality Storytelling Festival 2019, in which storytelling is combined with virtual reality. 'Relaas', an organisation that sets up storytelling nights with true stories and that broadcasts podcasts, teamed up with me. They provided three interesting true stories and I drew these stories live in 3D while being in Virtual Reality. The people that told these stories were normal, unprofessional storytellers, that were trained by the organisation 'Relaas' to tell their personal story. In order not to disturb them or distract the audience, I was sometimes hidden in a green box.
I have a great interest in Virtual Reality 3D programs, as you can see from some of my projects. That's why I decided to draw something for myself in the 3D program Quill. Quill drawings mostly have vibrant colours, artistic value and you are able to animate. I drew this image in memory of a friend of mine.
