This video shows how the Neoparent App works. This app tries to increase the involvement of parents in the care of their premature baby and to inform them very clearly. I made this app as a school assignment and was later chosen by Odisee University College to realise the actual project. This app will be used in the future by UZ Ghent and UZ Brussels.
We exhibited the app at the Museum of Industry during the Science Day in Ghent in November 2019, for which I created additional (promotional) material such as a memory game for children (see below).
How does it work?
For whom?
The child - The app helps to increase the parent’s involvement. That bond is very important for the development of a premature child.
The Parents - The app comforts the parents by giving the correct information at the correct time and encourages to more participation in the care of the baby. Nurses - Thanks to the app, the nurses will be able to provide better care and communication and they will see their workload reduced.
Other useful functions of the app

Odisee University College made a website with my colour palette, video and more information about the app: www.neoparent.be
